Cost Inclusions and Exclusions

- Accommodations with private bath/shower.
- Full board - breakfast, lunch, and supper except in Nairobi.
- Breakfast in Nairobi.
- Casual meals as indicated on the itinerary.
- Entrance fees to National Parks and Reserves.
- Services of park rangers where necessary.
- Game viewing and sight-seeing as on the itinerary.
- Exclusive use of safari vehicles with roof hatches and
   driven by English-speaking driver/guides on safari.
- Services of tour leader throughout the safari.
- Road tolls.
- Temporary membership in the Flying Doctors Society.
- Transfers as indicated on the itinerary.
- Tipping to lodge and dining room staffs.
- Tips to airport porters.

- Lunch & Supper in Nairobi. (So that we can try some local
   restaurants.)
- Tanzania & Kenya Visa Fees.
- Kenya airport departure tax (if applicable)($20.00 U.S.).
- Tips to baggage porters at lodges and hotels.
- Gratuity to your safari drivers.
- Incidental tips to bar waiters, etc. of a personal nature.
- All items of a personal nature, such as drinks, laundry,
   room service, souvenirs, etc.
- Unscheduled side trips such as a possible visit to a Masai
  Village, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Home, Museum,
   Hot Air Balloon trip, etc.

   ***  Note that most costs in Kenya and Tanzania are reasonable.  However, you must
           bargain hard at roadside souvenir stands to get a good price on such items.

   ***  I would suggest that you take most of your spending money in the form of traveller's
           cheques in American funds. 

   ***  Many places in Kenya and Tanzania will accept your credit cards (Visa, etc.) for
           payment; particularly lodges, hotels, some stores, and balloon operators. 

   ***  The currency used is Tanzania shillings or Kenya shillings.  The systems are easy to
           grasp.
