Safari 2009 Kenya & Tanzania

Each year, in January and February, Robert conducts safaris to Kenya and Tanzania. The 2009 safari will be his twenty-second trip to this fascinating part of the world.

He designs the safaris to give you the very best experience and the best value for your travel investment. Robert's personal experience and interest in nature, combined with his highly-professional tour operators in Nairobi assure a quality adventure for the participants.

Excellent viewing and photography experiences await you at the following locations on the 2009 safari: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Sweetwaters, Samburu, The Ark, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara.

The variety of first-class lodgings and special outings will leave you with memories to last a lifetime, or at least until you can visit again. Even the names Serena Mountain Village, Tarangire Safari Lodge, Seronera Lodge, Ndutu Safari Lodge, Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Samburu Serena Lodge, The Ark, Simba Lodge, and Kichwa Tembo Camp are filled with intrigue.

All of our guides are very knowledgeable and experienced, and they are important to the success of the trip. The main safari includes twenty-five game drives, with two full-day game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, and a boat trip on Lake Naivasha. The Masai Mara extension has at least ten game drives.

In addition to viewing and photographing the mammals and landscape, we will try to include cultural experiences where possible. We will also be birding throughout the trip as the birds are many and varied and make a valuable addition to the safari experience.
